Privacy Policy

Overview

DownBadCalls is operated by Lulo Labs LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. We built this as an image generator — nothing you type or upload ever leaves your device. We collect minimal, anonymous analytics to understand how the product is being used, and that's it.

What We Collect

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes: pageviews, button interactions, approximate location derived from your IP address, an anonymous session identifier, and your device type and browser. We have no accounts and no sign-up, so we never collect your name, email, or any personal identifying information.

What We Don't Collect

Photos you upload are processed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. They are never transmitted to our servers and are removed from memory when you close or refresh the tab.

Text you enter — questions, names, options — also stays in your browser. It is not sent to or stored by us.

Third-Party Services

We use two third-party services that may process your IP address and request metadata as part of normal operations:

Cookies

PostHog sets one analytics cookie to maintain an anonymous session identifier. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other sites.

Your Rights

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what data is collected about you, to request deletion of that data, and to opt out of the sale of your data. We do not sell personal data.

EEA and UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; to object to processing; and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Children

DownBadCalls is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of DownBadCalls after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
